PIG PROGRESS – GUT HEALTH SEMINAR

Recently, the topic of ‘gut health’ gained immense importance, especially in pig farming. The use of antibiotics and therapeutic doses of zinc oxide are being discussed worldwide. As the use of growth-promoting antibiotics is not advised and the application of zinc oxide in high quantities is also partially regulated, new alternatives will be searched for to ensure gut health in pig rearing in the future.
For this reason, science is working on improving piglet weaning and maintaining gut health in order to achieve high animal performances.

This topic will be addressed by our Managing Director Dr. Torben Liermann in his presentation about “An holistic approach to improve gut integrity in livestock with feed additives”, which he will present during the PIG PROGRESS seminar GUT HEALTH. The seminar will take place on Thursday, March 9, in Room JUPITER 5 of VIV Asia within the time frame of 1-2:30 p.m. Register by clicking HERE.
